Students undertaking the correlate sequence must complete 6 units. All students must take AFRS 100 Introduction to Africana Studies. In addition, students must complete two Arabic language courses at the 200 level (AFRS 207 and AFRS 208) and two at the 300 level (AFRS 307, AFRS 308, or AFRS 311). Students must also take AFRS 205, or in consultation with the correlate adviser, another approved course. Only one credit from study abroad and/or summer intensive Arabic language programs may count toward the Arabic Language and Culture correlate.
