EDUC 274 - Embodied Memories Podcast: Developing Africana Religious Literacy Curricula

In this intensive, participants develop multimodal, game-based, open-access liberatory religious literacy curricula—focused on the lives of community members in Black and Africana religious traditions. Content is based on oral history interviews from Dr. Martin’s Embodied Memories podcast, available on YouTube and Spotify. Students learn how to create lesson plans that are culturally sustaining, inclusive, and aligned with state standards. In addition, there are opportunities to participate in the coding and analysis of interview data for publication. Kahdeidra Martin.
