MATH 217 - Introduction to Numerical Methods

Numerical techniques for a variety of problems, such as finding roots of polynomials, interpolation, numerical differentiation, and integration. Topics include the underlying theory behind the algorithms, including error analysis, and implementation using MATLAB to facilitate numerical experimentation. No prior programming experience is needed. The Department.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 126  and MATH 127 , or permission of the department.
