SOCI 321 - Feminism, Knowledge, Practice

1 unit(s)
(Same as WFQS 321 ) How has feminist insight into issues of race, power/knowledge, intersecting inequalities, and human agency changed the way we understand the social world? What is the relationship between theory and practice? What counts as theory? How does theory inform research, pedagogy, and social relationships? Drawing on theoretical, empirical, and experimental texts we explore how feminist knowledge is created, circulated, and debated.  Light Carruyo.
